Youth and Family Programs

Invest in programs and facilities to support the educational, social, and recreational needs of children and families.

Holler to Hilltop Revival Corp is dedicated to supporting the next generation and strengthening families through comprehensive programming that promotes education, resilience, and opportunity. Under its Youth and Family Programs initiative, the organization will provide support services designed to nurture growth, support positive development, and build family well-being in rural Appalachian communities.

Key services include:

  • Youth Leadership and Workforce Readiness: Offer hands-on programs in entrepreneurship, skilled trades, creative arts, and environmental stewardship to equip young people with job skills, confidence, and pathways to career success.

  • Mentorship and Life Skills Development: Facilitate mentorship opportunities and structured life skills workshops focused on goal setting, communication, conflict resolution, financial literacy, and personal development.

  • Out-of-School Enrichment Programs: Provide after-school activities, summer learning initiatives, and weekend workshops that combine academic support with arts, sports, and cultural education.

  • Family Engagement and Support Services: Deliver parenting education, family counseling referrals, and supportive services that strengthen family bonds and promote safe, nurturing home environments.

  • Early Childhood Literacy and Learning: Partner with libraries, early educators, and health professionals to promote literacy, school readiness, and developmental milestones for children ages 0–5.

  • Youth Mental Health and Wellness: Create safe spaces and peer support programs that address mental health, bullying, substance use, and trauma in collaboration with local behavioral health providers.

  • Educational Gaps: Current educational programs often overlook essential life skills like financial literacy, recycling, and community service.

  • Resource Inequity: While many individuals and businesses have more than they need, others face scarcity. This Holler to Hilltop Revival Corp will create an efficient platform to redistribute resources to those in need.

  • Systemic Barriers: Bureaucratic hurdles make it difficult for those most in need to access assistance, while more resourced individuals can exploit the system. Holler to Hilltop Revival Corp will work to simplify these processes and increase access for underserved populations.

  • Education on Recycling and Repurposing: Introduce programs within schools to teach students about reducing waste, repurposing items, and developing sustainable practices. Students will learn to recycle technology, furniture, and other items while gaining real-life skills.
