Regional Collaboration
Work with neighboring counties, state agencies, and regional organizations to leverage resources and align initiatives for broader impact
Holler to Hilltop Revival Corp believes that sustainable community transformation requires coordinated action across sectors and geographic boundaries. Under its Regional Collaboration initiative, the organization facilitates cross-county and cross-sector partnerships to amplify impact, leverage resources, and accelerate community and economic revitalization across Western Maryland and the broader Appalachian region.
Core services include:
Interagency Coordination and Convening: Serve as a regional convener to align goals and programming among local governments, school systems, nonprofits, and private sector partners to prevent duplication and enhance service delivery.
Joint Grant Development and Resource Leveraging: Lead or co-lead collaborative funding proposals and regional grant applications, pooling expertise and matching resources to increase access to federal, state, and philanthropic dollars.
Regional Data Sharing and Impact Tracking: Develop shared measurement tools and regional dashboards to track progress on workforce development, housing, youth outcomes, and infrastructure improvements.
Cross-Border Economic and Workforce Development Initiatives: Partner with regional economic development councils and educational institutions to build training pipelines, incubate local businesses, and support sector-based strategies (e.g., trades, green jobs, arts, and agriculture).
Policy Advocacy and Rural Representation: Collaborate with statewide coalitions and advocacy groups to elevate rural voices and policy needs in areas such as affordable housing, broadband access, environmental justice, and public health.
Regional Planning and Strategic Visioning: Facilitate regional visioning processes and collaborative strategic plans that guide collective investment and development priorities across municipal boundaries.
