Holler to Hilltop Revival Corp is committed to revitalizing the physical, social, and economic infrastructure of underserved and historically overlooked communities in Garrett County and surrounding Appalachian regions.
Under an infrastructure enhancement initiative, the organization will strive to provide the following services:
Historic Building Rehabilitation: Restore and repurpose vacant and underutilized historic structures into vibrant community assets to house workforce development programs, entrepreneurial spaces, and social services.
Community Facilities Development: Plan, design, and support the construction or upgrade of community-serving facilities, including resource hubs, artisan workshops, educational spaces, and gathering areas that promote connectivity, health, and wellbeing.
Site Planning & Pre-Development Services: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and preparing sites for future development, including brownfield remediation, environmental assessments, and infrastructure needs analysis.
Public Infrastructure Advocacy & Coordination: Partner with local government and utility providers to advocate for and support improvements in broadband access, stormwater management, energy systems, sidewalks, and transportation infrastructure that increase accessibility and resilience in rural communities.
Green and Sustainable Design Integration: Promote the integration of environmentally sustainable features—such as energy-efficient systems, green roofs, and low-impact development (LID) practices—into all physical infrastructure projects.
