Program Tiers
Tier 1: Trainees – 6–12 months foundational training and stabilization
Tier 2: Apprentices – 12–18 months advanced skills, credentials, and leadership
Tier 3: Alumni – Job placement, entrepreneurship, and mentorshipv
Wraparound Services – Potentially include housing stabilization, childcare, transportation, mental health support services, addiction recovery, legal aid, and financial counseling through strong local partnerships.
Target Population - Unemployed and underemployed individuals in Garrett County and surrounding rural Appalachian communities. Priority focus includes youth, veterans, returning citizens, those in recovery, and individuals facing generational poverty.
Strategic Partnerships - Collaborations with Garrett College, local employers and unions, Maryland Department of Labor, and philanthropic organizations such as the Appalachian Regional Commission.
